Decoration Disorder Disconnection 1
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
"It was a silent night of grating bone.
The sound of budding, beautiful life."
Beginning irregular publishing in Faust Magazine in 2004, Decoration Disorder Disconnection was a series of light novels written by Kinoko Nasu, widely known for his work on Tsukihime, Fate, Kara no Kyoukai, etc . The series unfortunately entered an indefinite hiatus after the release of the second volume due to both a shift in tone in Nasu's writing and his changing priorities (i.e. Mahoyo, FGO, and the Tsukihime Remake). While it's entirely possible fans of TYPE-MOON may never see a third volume of Decoration Disorder Disconnection come to fruition, this fan visual novel was created in an attempt to give people easy access to the series and generally increase awareness of its existence to the English speaking side of the fandom.

Disclaimer: I elected to remove a few lines of the original translation in the initial release due to my (and other fans I talked to prior to release) views on them and people justifiably saw it as censorship. These lines are restored in the UNC release found below.

this was a fun read, thanks for making this!
How long does it take to finish ?
I’m not completely sure, as reading speed can vary a lot between people and I’ve yet to speak with anyone who has fully completed it other than myself, but if I had to estimate probably somewhere between 2 to 5 hours, based on the fact that in its original form it was about 310 pages
This is so awesome, thank you!
dont think the section was that problematic to be removed with how much on the comedic side its played. They are suppossed to be very flustered and confused and thinking nonsense in reaction to the D.
I plan to add a version with the scene added back in later today, I honestly did not expect the VN to reach this level of popularity so I didn’t consider the full implications of censoring it, as before now it was mostly just a scene which me and the few DDD fans I interacted with considered weird and pointless
Good to have both options. I think the popularity is because of timing. Right now a lot of eyes are on the obscure works of TM after the surprise of Hibichika being added to FGO with people outside the loop wanting to know why the deep TM fans are so excited about these other works that arent the big ones.
This VN is simply the perfect opportunity for those people to get into one of the obscure TM works the deep TM fans have been talking about. And of course fans of DDD like us to go back to reread it.
Thank you for making peak more accessible. This version is more easily readable than some of the other fan translations while still maintaining the style of the original
Thanks for your work on making this easily available
